"Draw a Line Through All the Circles on a Grid: A Brain Teaser Activity" is a worksheet that encourages students to think critically and use their problem-solving abilities to solve a puzzle.

Each puzzle features black and white circles located in the squares of a grid. Students must draw a single unbroken line through all the circles. They can draw lines left, right, up, or down, but not diagonally. They cannot cross over a line they have already drawn, and they can only turn on a black circle.

Each page features a mini puzzle with a green line already drawn through the circles so students can see what they're supposed to do. Some puzzles also have some of the lines completed in the puzzle to give them a head start.

Brain teasers can be a great early finisher activity, but they are especially good at getting students to think critically and use their problem-solving skills. Some brain teasers can even get students to think about coding concepts when solving the problem involves a series of steps that must be completed in order.

For example, a grid can feature both black and white circles in the boxes between lines. Students must connect the circles by drawing sections of the line one after the other, only turning in boxes with black circles, kind of like they would when completing a maze.

Students can complete this kind of brain teaser on their own, but it can also be a lot of fun for them to complete it in pairs or small groups. Each student can draw one line before passing it to the next student, making it a good teamwork activity.
