In this worksheet, students will practice adding and subtracting decimals up to the hundredth place. An example is provided to guide them before they take on the challenge of rewriting and solving nine equations. There are two word problems at the end.

When you have a horizontal decimal problem, like 4.5 + 3.2 or 6.7 - 2.3, first you want to rewrite it vertically. To do this, make sure the decimal points are aligned. Once done, you can add or subtract like normal, starting from the right side and moving left. Don't forget to bring the decimal point straight down into your answer!
