Maiasaura was a duckbilled dinosaur called a hadrosaur (HAD-ruh-sore). Maiasaura had a long, wide snout. It had a broad beak that looked like a duck's bill. It ate plants. It had extra rows of teeth in its jaws. When one tooth broke off or fell out, another tooth moved into its place. It walked on four legs most of the time. Sometimes it walked on its two back legs.
