Dear Diary,
Last night I watched the best movie on television. It didn't start until 10:00 p.m. and lasted until 12:15 a.m. It was long, but I didn't mind. It was such a great movie! I can't believe how it ended. I am so glad that I stayed up to watch the end of it. Mel would just love it!
It was hard to stay awake in my first period class today. For the last two or three weeks, I have been so tired. I don't know why.

Dear Diary,
Todd got a great new video game yesterday. It just came out, and he bought one of the first ones! It is really exciting. It was hard to play at first, but I got pretty good at it before we turned it off and went to bed. We decided to go to bed about 1:00 a.m. After all, we both had to get up for school today.
Mr. Danes, the school librarian, made me leave the library today. He is mean. I was just resting my head on the table. I wasn't sleeping or anything. He just doesn't like me, I guess.
