What's your style? Goth, preppy, bohemian, hippie? No, not your fashion style - your learning style. Are you visual, auditory, or kinesthetic? What?
Almost everyone has a learning style that helps them learn more easily. Think about your favorite class. Is it English class where you read most of the time? Is it history where the teacher lectures and tells you stories of things that happened long ago? Is it science or art where you work with your hands? Is it phys. ed. where you get to move around a lot? (No, lunch is not a class.)
Let's say you want to learn how to replace the brakes on your bicycle. Would you rather read about how to do it, listen to someone tell you how to do it, or just dive in and try it on your own?
