Emily is an artist. Emily loves to draw. She makes art for children's books. Last week, Emily drew lots of elephants for a book. The elephants were big and gray with very long trunks. Emily got some news. The news was as big as one of the elephants in Emily's book!
Emily and her husband, Josh, went to the doctor. The doctor said they should get ready for two babies. The doctor said Emily would have twins. She would have one boy and one girl. What a surprise!
Emily and Josh had to find many things. Instead of finding one crib, they had to find two. Instead of one stroller, they had to find two. Emily and Josh have many friends. Some of their friends have children. They gave Emily and Josh many baby things. They gave them clothes, toys, cribs, and strollers! Buying things for two babies can be very expensive!
