"Alice, can you go with me to the clay site? I need to gather enough clay to make some pots."

"Sure, Mom," said Alice as she put the broom she was using back into the corner. "How much clay do you want to get this time?"

"I only want enough for this week. After I go through all of the steps to prepare the clay, I think I will only have time to make three pots," said Mom.

"I will get one basket and the digging tools then," Alice said. She picked up the tools and basket and walked out of the house with her mother.
