Tick, Tock! Eddie Gets a Clock

Eddie liked to play in his room. He had building blocks. He had toy knights and a large plastic dragon. Eddie also had a fish tank. His pet goldfish was called Bubbles. Eddie also had a blue beanbag chair to sit on. He sat there and read books from the library. Eddie liked his room a lot!

"Eddie, please come to dinner in ten minutes," called Dad.

Dad was making his special noodle casserole. Mom was at her job tonight. Sometimes she worked late. Then Dad cooked dinner. Dad wore a silly apron when he cooked dinner. The apron had a picture of a fat chef on it. Dad had fun in the kitchen, and he sang loud songs as he cooked.

"Okay, Dad, I will," said Eddie.
