"Grandma! Grandma!' Will called. "Grandma, where are you?"
"I'm in the kitchen, Will," she said.
Will ran into the kitchen.
"Tomorrow is Taffy Day," he said. "I have to write something about taffy. I don't even know what taffy is!"
"It's a kind of candy," Will's grandmother said.
She put a plate of cookies on the table. She gave Will a glass of milk. Then she sat down at the table.
"When I was a little girl," she said, "We made our own taffy."
"Did you make it on Taffy Day?" Will said.
