When you move to a new place, sometimes people stop by to welcome you! Immigrants to America had something to welcome them, too. It was a large statue of a lady. She still welcomes people, today. She holds a raised torch in one hand. She holds a tablet in the other. She wears a crown with seven rays on it. Who is this lady? She is the Statue of Liberty.
