The Oatmeal Ogre

Tasha has to get up early every morning.

Her mom wakes her up. She turns on the light. She says the same thing every day.

"Good morning, Tasha! It's time to get up!"

Tasha doesn't like getting up. She likes to stay under the covers. It's warm, dark, and quiet there. Getting up is cold, bright, and noisy. Tasha wants to stay in bed all day. But her mom won't let her. Tasha thinks getting up is the worst thing she has to do all day.
