Stripes That Stick Together

Do you ever use teamwork? If you play sports then you probably do. One person can't win a soccer game all by themselves. It takes the whole team working together to accomplish that goal. That's teamwork. You may also use teamwork at school. When your teacher assigns a group project, each person has to do his or her part to complete the assigned task. This is also teamwork. Did you know that many animals use teamwork, too? Zebras, for example, use teamwork to protect their herds from predators. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs all like to prey on zebras. But these striped animals use teamwork to try to stay safe. Often in the wild, zebras will stand together in a large herd. When many zebras stand together, it looks like a sea of black and white stripes! All of these stripes confuse the predators. The predators can't tell where one zebra starts and where one ends. Sometimes, one zebra will stand right next .....
