Summertime is a great time to be outside. The weather is warm, and there are lots of outdoor activities and sports. From throwing a Frisbee to playing volleyball, summertime is made for the outdoors. Then comes winter and cold weather. Lots of people prefer to stay inside when it's cold, and all that active exercise goes away for a few months.

A skier has to have some good body strength to use his body to turn and change directions. A good skier uses lots of muscles in his arms, back, and legs. Skiing is a great workout.
