Your relatives - past, present, and future - are the branches and roots on your family tree. Some of them may be unknown to you. That is fine. While it can be fun to trace your roots into the past, it doesn't make you a better person. It just makes you a person who knows his or her family history. Let's get started and see how far your branches go!
The best place for you to begin is with yourself. You know all about yourself, right? In the middle of the bottom of a sheet of paper, write your name, birth date, and city of birth. If you have brothers and sisters, do the same for them, but keep your name in the center.
It should look like this:
Bubba Alajee | Jeannie Alajee | Baby Alajee |
9/5/2005 | 12/25/2008 | 9/9/2011 |
Frankfurt, Kentucky | Santa Claus, Indiana | Vincennes, Indiana |
