Pet Rabbits
Almost everyone loves rabbits. They are so cute. They are soft and cuddly. They are quiet. They do not chew on your best shoes. They can learn how to use a litter box. They are perfect pets, aren't they?
February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month. This is a good time to learn about rabbits. Maybe we do not know as much about rabbits as we think. Maybe not everyone should have a pet rabbit. Maybe they are not always cute and cuddly!
Most people say that pet rabbits should live inside. They should have a cage, but the cage should be inside the rabbit owner's house. Rabbits are smart and they can become great friends, but they need to be around their human families.
Rabbits can learn to use a litter box. It takes time and patience to train the rabbit to use a litter box.
