New Laptop
"Wow! That's awesome!" William said to Rachel. "When did you get it?"
"I got it for my birthday last weekend. I was so surprised!"
Rachel pulled the new laptop out of its case to give William a closer look. She opened the lid, and the machine immediately powered up.
"That's fast!" William said. "Mine takes a few minutes to boot up."
Rachel then showed William the variety of programs and applications that her laptop could handle. William was very impressed and rather jealous -- in a friendly way.
"I especially like this program," Rachel said. "I can draw and paint with it. It does more than my other computer did."
"You love to be creative," William said.
"Yes, and this program has so many more features than the one on my old computer. This one has lots more colors, shapes, and clip art I can use."
