MyPlate is new. It took the place of the Food Pyramid. I think MyPlate makes it easier to see what I should eat.
MyPlate is a symbol. It shows a plate with four parts. To the right of the plate is a blue circle. That circle reminds me that some dairy should be part of every meal. It could be a glass of milk. Kids older than two should drink fat-free or low-fat milk.
