"It's going to be a great party," Dawn said. "It will be the best Halloween party ever!"
The children were making plans for their class Halloween party. Choosing music was the only thing left to do. They wanted really scary music.
"Where can we get some scary music?" Jacob asked. Everyone thought for a while.
"I know a scary song," Emily said. "I learned it yesterday. It is about monsters and graveyards and stuff."
"Are you sure it's a scary song?" Miss Miller asked. Miss Miller was their teacher. She was helping them write down their plans.
"Yes, I know it's scary," Emily said. "I told you. It's about monsters and graveyards."
"Sing it for us," Madison said.
"Oh, no!" Emily said. "I won't do it right. I'll get Mr. Danforth's MP3 player, and you can listen to it." Emily looked at Miss Miller. Miss Miller nodded and Emily went out the door like a flash. She was back with the MP3 player in just a few seconds.
"Here it is," she said. "The singer is a guy named Bobby Pickett." She started the MP3 player and the children heard Mr. Pickett sing about working in a lab and seeing a monster rise. Spooky! The children were very quiet.
