Making a Reservation
John called Lisa on the phone. "Let's go to that fancy restaurant you've always wanted to try," he said excitedly.
"Picasso's?" Lisa asked. "You know that it's really expensive."
"I want to celebrate," John told her. "I got a raise today at work!"
"That's great news!" Lisa exclaimed.
"So, get your fancy dress on and meet me there," John told her.
"Did you make reservations?" Lisa asked.
"No," John admitted. "I didn't even think of it."
"You know they are always busy," Lisa said. "You should make a reservation so we don't have to wait a long time for a seat."
