It might be easy to make money, but it is not easy to print money. The government wants to keep it that way! U.S. currency is complicated. Bank note printers make it that way on purpose. They work very hard to make sure that counterfeiters cannot easily copy and print our bills. To keep our currency and its printing secrets safe, note printers produce bank notes in high-security plants. They also include many hard-to-copy details on each note. First, they print the bills on a certain type of paper. It is a secret blend of different fibers. Next, they use a unique blend of ink to print the bills.
