"Are you going to Jamie's Halloween party?" asked Jennifer as she walked home from school with Diane.
"I think so. I still have to get final approval from my mom." Diane shifted the weight of her backpack to her other shoulder and then said, "Are you going?"
"Yes, I have been looking forward to it ever since I heard Jamie was planning it."
