"I declare it Bobby Marshall Day," said Bobby to his friend John.
"Why?" John asked.
"Why not? It's Make Your Own Holiday Day," Bobby replied.
"Really?"
"Yes. What holiday will you make?"
John thought about that. He liked holidays. It would be a lot of fun to create his own holiday. He could celebrate anything he wanted. He could have a party or take a day off from school or serve some special kind of food.
"What are you going to do on Bobby Marshall Day?" John asked.
Bobby stroked his chin. "To start with, I am going to stop at the ice cream shop after school." Bobby and John walked about a block to the bus stop right past an ice cream store every day. Since school began this year, they hadn't stopped for ice cream yet.
"Can I go with you?" John asked.
