It was dark and windy outside. It had been raining for a long time. The animals were tired of being inside the barn.
"I do not like rain!" the dog barked. "I do not like to stay inside. I want to play with my ball."
"All you do is make noise," the ticks said. "Be quiet or we will bite you. Then you will get itchy. You will not want to play then."
"You are not special," the wasps said. "You ticks are going to be stuck on that dog. We can fly. We can sting."
