Josh was busy getting dressed for school. He was in a hurry. His class was going to the zoo. He didn't want to be late. He put on his pants, shirt, socks, and shoes.
Josh ran into the kitchen. The oven door was open. There was a pan of muffins in the oven. They smelled so good!
While Josh was doing all these things, his skin was busy, too. Skin holds everything together. It covers the muscles, tissues, and organs inside the body. It keeps everything in his body safe. The top layer of skin makes new skin cells. The old cells flake off.
