Today is a very special day. Today is Hobbit Day.
My name is Esmerelda Bumbleroot of Haysend. Well, that is not my real name. That is my hobbit name. I am going to tell you about hobbits.
Hobbits are very small beings. They are never more than four feet tall. Most of them are about three and a half feet tall.
Most hobbits are just a little bit chubby. They love to eat, and they love parties. In fact, they eat seven meals a day! It is no wonder that most of them are stout!
