Halloween Costume Under the Sea
"There, that should be the last of the supplies for this week," Tim said as he put a box on the pallet and checked off the item on his hand-held computer.
"Did we get the supplies for the party this weekend?" asked Lori.
"Yes, everything is here," Tim said.
Tim and Lori lived in a unique underwater colony called the PHC (for Permanent Human Colony). They had lived and gone to school here for several years and had learned to adjust to living on the ocean floor. They were even learning to help out with the duties around the colony, like helping to inventory and store the supplies that came in from the land base.
"Lori, have you decided what costume you are going to wear this year for the party?" Tim asked.
Lori continued stocking supplies on the shelves but turned briefly to glance at Tim. "No, I just can't think of anything. I heard that in the old days, people used to dress up for Halloween in scary costumes. They dressed like witches and zombies, but I didn't really want to do that. How about you; what is your costume going to be?"
"I started on my costume a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to be a shark," Tim said with a smile as he opened the box on the pallet.
"Oh, that's a good idea," said Lori. "I wish I could think of something good. I am running out of time."
