The Earth has many climates. The polar regions have a very cold climate. These places are sometimes called the frigid zones. The polar regions are located around the North Pole and the South Pole. Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway, and Russia are in the Arctic polar region. Antarctica is the southern polar region. Polar regions have extremely cold temperatures.
