Doilies in the Sky
A doily is a pretty mat. It can be made of paper but is often crocheted or knitted and has a delicate pattern. It is often round and used as a decoration. Doilies are usually used inside. They might be under a glass or a lamp. In the winter, if you live where the weather is cold, you might see what looks like dainty doilies dancing in the sky.
