"My parents just went to some book discussion group where they learned something interesting," Margaret shared with her friend Laura. They were sitting cross-legged on the new fluffy purple rug that had been installed in Margaret's room and enjoying a casual summer afternoon.
"What's that?" Laura asked.
"I heard them talking about each member of our family having a different personality and how we do things differently because of that. They took some type of personality test."
"What book were they discussing?" Laura asked.
"It was something like Different Kids, Different Parents. I think the book is downstairs."
"Do you think we should look at it?" Laura asked nervously. "Maybe they don't want us to see it."
"I think it would be okay. Mom was going to tell me a little about it before she left for work today, but we didn't have much time."
The girls stretched the kinks out of their legs and bounded down the stairs.
"Here it is," Margaret said after she looked around the kitchen. "Different Children, Different Needs. I was close!"
