Not all dinosaurs were large. Compsognathus (komp sog NATH uss) was a small dinosaur, only about three feet long including its tail. It weighed about as much as a turkey. It was one of the smallest dinosaurs that ever lived. Its name means "dainty jaw." This dinosaur was a carnivorous predator with sharp blade-like teeth and sharp claws.
