Celebrating Earth Day
Last summer, Ashley had a big birthday party. She celebrated her tenth birthday with one of the best parties she had ever had. So many people were there! Her family and most of her friends came to celebrate. It was a really good time with a lot of food, cake, and ice cream!
So many people were planning to come that her parents decided to have the party outside. They chose one of Ashley's favorite places in town. The big park in the middle of town was perfect. It had big, grassy areas, a lot of trees, and a picnic area.
One of Ashley's favorite activities at the park is watching the fireworks on Independence Day. Every year, her family joins hundreds of other people at the park to watch fireworks fill the night sky. It is always a beautiful evening, and everyone has a wonderful time.
