Are you creative? What a silly question! Of course you are. All children are born creative. Sometimes children stop being creative, though. They forget how to play. They don't know how to make up their own games. They don't know what to do with free time. They fill their free time with television or video games.
Bruce Van Patter, a man who writes books and draws pictures for kids, was worried about them. He was afraid they might stop being creative. So he started a holiday. He called it Keep Kids Creative Week. It is celebrated the last week of September.
Every year Mr. Van Patter writes lists of things kids can do to keep being creative. Would you like to try some of his ideas? Get three or four friends together and choose one of these to do.
