"My new niece is here!" Allison said in her text to her friend Melissa.
"Very cool," Melissa texted back. "What's her name?"
"Arcadia," Allison replied.
Melissa thought Arcadia was an interesting name. It certainly was unusual. Later that day, when she sat with Allison for lunch, she brought it up.
"Why did they name your niece Arcadia?" she said before biting into her hamburger.
"Arcadia means 'adventurous,' " Allison replied. "My sister and brother-in-law are adventurous people, so it fits."
"Aren't they the ones that go scuba diving and skydiving?" Melissa asked.
"Yes. They also do rock climbing."
