An Eagle for an Emblem
Pretend that you are going on a treasure hunt. Your task is to find three pictures. You are given a one-dollar bill. Can you do it? I think that you can! What three pictures would you find? On the front, you would find a picture of George Washington. On the back, you would see a picture of a pyramid. You would also find a picture of a bald eagle. The bald eagle is the national emblem of the United States.
This symbol was chosen by our nation's first leaders. These men wanted to choose the right emblem to represent our country. This was very hard!
