An E-mail from Charlie Cloud

Hey there! I hope you're doing okay. I've been a little busy lately. It's why I didn't e-mail you sooner. You can probably imagine how busy we clouds can be. If not, I'll explain!

I'm sure you know what a cloud is. I bet you see clouds nearly every day. We float high up in the sky, sometimes moving fast, sometimes slow. Some of us clouds are big, and sometimes we're small. Sometimes we can even be different colors!

So what are clouds made of? Very simply, we're made of water. Water in lakes and oceans evaporates. Little tiny particles of water ride the rising warm air all the way up to the sky. These particles are so small that by themselves you can't see them. But when billions and billions - more than anyone can count - get together, they form a cloud. And clouds, of course, you can see!
