Amber Pumpkins
"Are you ready to find a pumpkin?" Brittany asked Amber.
"Yes! I can't wait!" Amber responded.
Brittany gave her little sister a hug. It was such fun to have another girl in the house, even though they were seven years apart. Brittany loved her little sister and she didn't mind helping Mom with her. It was fun (for the most part) to help with three-year-old Amber. She was a cute little girl. Their two brothers didn't pay much attention to her. Brittany was glad not to be the only girl child in the home.
The family was headed to Rocky Creek Pumpkin Patch to get their annual fall pumpkins. Although Brittany's favorite season was summer, autumn wasn't bad. She enjoyed going on hay rides, carving jack-o'-lanterns, and walking through fallen leaves. She especially enjoyed picking out pumpkins and helping Mom decorate the porch and house with them. It was even more fun now that she could experience these things through a little child's eyes.
