"What are you doing, Grandma?" Sally asked as she walked out onto the porch.
"I'm sweeping the porch before my bridge club comes," Grandma explained.
Sally settled onto the porch swing. "What's a bridge club, Grandma? Do you build bridges?"
Grandma chuckled. "No, dear. Bridge is a card game. I have three friends who come each month to play bridge with me."
Sally, swinging her feet, thought about that for a moment.
"So, it would be kind of like having my friends come over to play Go Fish?"
"Yes, that's it. Would you like to have your friends over, too?"
Sally's eyes lit up. "That would be fun!"
"Okay, then, let's go in and call a few of them."
