Point of View Worksheets

Point of view, or perspective, is a way for authors to manipulate through which lens a story is told. In the case of narrative or even persuasive literature, readers need to know the point of view to comprehend the material and determine its reliability. Who is telling the story? How does the character view the world? Is it objective or subjective, limited or omniscient? Teach your students the importance of point of view in this elementary through high school unit. Activities include fiction and nonfiction reading comprehension as well as identifying and explaining points of view.
