Nervous System

Your nervous system has three main parts: the central nervous system, the peripheral nervous system, and the autonomic nervous system. The central nervous system includes your brain and your spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system includes nerves that go from your central nervous system out to all parts of your body. The autonomic nervous system keeps your heart beating and your lungs breathing automatically without you even having to think about doing those things. Your brain is the center of your thoughts, ideas, dreams, and emotions. This theme unit will teach you about your nervous system.
