Aunt Josephine says that Captain Sham's business card proves his identity. Do you agree or disagree and why?
The children don't know what to do because Aunt Josephine won't believe that Captain Sham is Count Olaf. Hypothesize what you would do if you were one of the children.
Aunt Josephine left a note giving the children to Captain Sham. Explain how the children knew she hadn't written the note, and Count Olaf had killed her.
