Life is about making choices. Ted had to make a choice in regard to April and the promise he broke by telling someone about her family. Mrs. Mitchell had to make a choice and so did April and her family. Make a list of at least two tough choices you have had to make in your life and the effect of each choice.
List at least three questions you have after reading this section, Chapters 15 through 21. Predict the answers for each just below the questions.
Make a list of at least five adjectives you'd use to describe the Mrs. Mitchell, April, and Ted separately. Explain each word connection.
Was Ted right to keep April and her family a secret? Support your answer with reasons from the story and your own personal opinion.
We can often empathize with people if we "take a walk in their shoes." What does this mean? Give an example from Chapter 16 when Ted did just this.
