Describe the plants and lights that Henry Pollack, Phil, and Lorenzo delivered to the Gardens of Glenwood for Willow's garden project. Why do you think Henry donated so much to her project?
At the end of chapter 57, Lenore Cole drove Willow away from the home she'd enjoyed since her parents' death. Willow pondered her concerns for Quang-ha, Dell, and Pattie noting:
When you care about other people, it takes the spotlight off your own drama.
Explain how that was true for Willow. How could you apply her observation to your own life.
Willow copied Dell's computer files when she built him a computer from parts of broken ones. When she opened his file called DDSS, she discovered his unique system of categorizing the strange students he counseled. Why did she disagree with his system for putting people into labeled categories?
Pattie debated over what to wear to Willow's court hearing, and finally chose a white silk shirt with embroidered doves, a black skirt, and red slippers. Provide the meaning for each of the three clothing items she selected.
After her court hearing, Willow realized that it was the 7th day of the month. She thought about the importance of 7 as a "natural number," and concluded by noting that "at every stage of living, there are 7 people who matter in your world." First, list the seven people who mattered in Willow's world, and then list the seven people who matter most in your world.
