Teamwork for Lunch

¹ A long time ago, on an island in the middle of the sea, there lived four animal friends -- Rocco Robin, Harley Horse, Wendy Whale, and Tom E. Toad. These friends would get together every day to eat lunch at noon, and would take turns finding and preparing it. Because they each had a different skill, they were able to enjoy a variety of food.

² Rocco Robin could reach and gather many berries and other sweet fruit by flying among the trees. Wendy Whale would cast about fishing, and Tom E. Toad gathered snails and dug for clams for a gourmet treat. This went on for some time before the three who gathered the most food began to realize that Harley just ate without working.
