¹     "Before we leave,"
 
²     The big whale confessed,
 
³     "We should clean up
 
⁴     This terrible mess."
 
⁵     "But why?" said the fox.
 
⁶     "Don't bother," he chimed.
 
⁷     "We've played all afternoon
 
⁸     It's now my hunting time."
 
⁹     So away the fox trotted
 
¹⁰     Off through the trees.
 
¹¹     The whale and other friends were left
 
¹²     With a big mess, you see.
 
¹³     The friends all grumbled
 
¹⁴     They felt really miffed.
