Neptuno

1     Neptuno es el octavo y último planeta verdadero en nuestro sistema solar. Está a una distancia de 2 mil 795 millones de millas del Sol. Eso es aproximadamente treinta veces la distancia de la Tierra al Sol. Es el cuarto planeta en orden de tamaño. Es el más pequeño de los planetas gigantes gaseosos, pero es más o menos cuatro veces más grande que la Tierra. Su fuerza de gravedad es mayor que la de la Tierra. Si pesas 100 libras en la Tierra, pesarías 110 libras en Neptuno.
 
2     Neptuno no tiene una superficie sólida. Es una bola gigante de gas con un centro de roca y hierro. Se ve color verde azulado y está cubierto con nubes. Neptuno, debido a su color azulado, fue nombrado en honor del dios romano del mar.
