Yoko is a young girl who lives in New York City. She has pretty black hair. Her family is from Japan. They like many styles of music.
One day Yoko heard a country singer yodel. It sounded funny!
"Mommy!" she yelled into the tiny yard where her mother played with baby Kenji. "You have to listen to this!"
Baby Kenji yawned. He was sleepy. Mommy carried him into the house and laid him in his crib. His fist gripped his yellow baby blanket.
The baby was not asleep yet, but Mommy listened to Yoko's music CD. Yoko had borrowed it from the library.
