Shelley was shy. She lived in the shadow of a sunken ship. If many fish swam by, she rushed to hide. She would shiver. She would shake. Was Shelley a shrimp? She was not. Shelley was a shark. She was a scared shark.
"I am ashamed of myself," Shelley said sadly. "Sharks are big. Sharks are brave. Sharks are not shy. What is wrong with me? I wish I was brave. "
A shrimp named Shawn was very brave. He wanted to help Shelley. He had a plan.
"Shut your eyes," he told Shelley.
Shelley shut her eyes. Shawn put big shells over Shelley's eyes.
"No peeking!" he said. "I want to show you something shiny. I will lead you to it."
Shelley let Shawn lead her away from the ship. Soon she swam into shallow water. Where was she? Why had she promised not to peek?
"Ta-dah!" Shawn cried, slipping off the shells. "We're here!"
Shelley saw that she was at the shore. She looked at a big hotel. It had lots of shiny glass windows. They shimmered in the sunshine.
