A mermaid named Mimi swam in the sea. She had a family. She had friends whose names were Sammy the Moray Eel and Misty the Seagull.
Mimi did a back flip in the air. She landed with a splash in the sea. This pleased her mom and dad. "More! More!" they called. Mimi swam and splashed for many hours!
A choir sang one day. Their music was charming! Sammy and Misty sang. Mimi's family sang with them. Mimi listened to them sing. The song made her want to dance. Her tail went swish, swish.
Could Mimi be in the show? She wanted to sing with Sammy and Misty. She wished for a pretty voice so that she could make music with them.
"That's a nice wish, but you can't sing," said Sammy the Moray Eel.
