Can I Nuke This?
By Cathy Pearl

1     A microwave is a great thing to have in your kitchen. It does more than just cook food quickly. When you nuke food in a microwave, it helps keep your house cool in the summer because you don't have to turn on the oven. There are some things that you should always remember when using a microwave.

2     A microwave oven can make the food very hot. You must always be careful not to get burned when you take food out of the microwave. Use potholders when picking up dishes from the microwave. This will help keep you from getting burned.

3     Don't put metal into a microwave. This can be very dangerous. It may ruin the microwave. It may also cause a fire in the microwave. Always make sure that spoons and forks are on the counter, not in the food that you are heating.
