¹     Mikey Miles was going to be five on Friday. Mikey was going to have a party. Mikey's dad said, "What would you like for your birthday, Mikey?"
 
²     "A horse," cried Mikey. "I would like a horse for my birthday!"
 
³     Mikey's dad shook his head. "Mikey, we do not have a place to keep a horse. We live in the city. But would you like to ride a horse for your birthday?"
 
⁴     "Yes, yes," said Mikey. "I would like to ride a horse for my birthday."
